Harmony Grove UMC will again provide lunch throughout the summer for children in our community. We ask for the following donations: sandwich and snack size baggies, napkins, plastic spoons, waxed paper, food prep gloves, individually packaged chips, crackers, pretzels, or Gold Fish, fresh fruit, applesauce cups, or fruit cups, 8 or 10 oz bottles of water. Cash donations can also be used to buy lunch meat, cheese, bread and fruit as needed.
Sandwiches will be made every Sunday after the 11 am service (beginning May 28); each Monday at 2pm beginning June 5; and each Wednesday at 6 pm beginning May 31.

United Methodist Women
THE PURPOSE: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
PRAYERS AND SQUARES: Chairperson–Becky Nicovich–Meets every fourth Tuesday night from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Prayers and Squares room in the Family Promise hallway. Our subgroup makes prayer quilts for church members and their family who are in need of prayer.
HATTIE CHEWNING CIRCLE OF FRIENDS: Chairperson–Libby Jackson–Meets on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in Room B209, the children’s music room. Renie Johnson is the teacher.
THELMA WELLS: Chairpersons–Barbara Smith and Wanda Smith–Meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Teacher, Glenda Bucky, leads the group in Bible study.
SHARE: Chairperson–Carroll Whitley–Meets on the second Monday of the month at 11:00 a.m. in the Good News Classroom. Teacher, Gailya Raines, leads Bible study. Prayer is an important part of our meetings.
United Methodist Men
The ministry of men in the local church is defined as a core group of men, partnering with their pastor, to invite and initiate spiritual growth opportunities for all men of the church. The UMM of Harmony Grove UMC supports Family Promise, Breakfast with Santa, our Community Easter Egg Hunt and where ever their skills are needed. The goal is to empower the ministry of Jesus Christ through men within the congregations of the United Methodist Church.
JOY Club (Just Older Youth)
Our JOY group meets at Harmony Grove UMC at 11:30 am on the 3rd Tuesday of each month for a covered dish lunch and program. Visitors are always welcome! Our senior adult group take part in such ministries as: Meals on Wheels, Summer Lunches, Family Promise, and Sager Brown Missions.
