It is National Back to Church Day and we are having a Fellowship Dinner to celebrate! Please mark your calendars for Sunday Sept 15 immediately following church. Our new sister church, the Incarnate Word Evangelical Lutheran Church under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Wilton Heyliger, will be joining us for this combined fellowship dinner.
First, please be sure to attend church on this Sunday. If all of us who attend regularly show up on a given Sunday, I imagine we would be quite the crowd. Also, this would be a great Sunday to invite a friend, so if there is someone you have been wanting to invite, this would be the Sunday to do it. Finally, bring a covered dish to share with others as we enjoy the familiar tasty food of our members plus what I imagine will be the tasty food of our new friends in Christ. I hope and pray we can all be here on this Sunday!
