Community Service and Outreach
Harmony Grove UMC has a history of service to the Lilburn Community. Community members not associated with the church are welcome to contact the church for information on ways they can contribute to these projects.
Our current programs include:
Little Free Pantry – Food and other health items are always available in the box on the back side of the church. Learn More.
Eddy’s Helpers – A pastoral care program that provides organization and tracking of care to our members.
Prayer Shawl Ministry – This prayer ministry creates comfort and love for those who are hurting and in need of healing. Learn More.
Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child – A yearly favorite
Crossroads Cemetery
Did you know that in addition to the cemetery adjacent to our church, we care for a historical cemetery from our “grandparent church”?
We had an extra special clean up day Oct 15, 2022 that included members of Salem Missionary Baptist Church, Troop 100 as well as the organizing team from Harmony Grove UMC.
This particular cleanup was coved in the local magazine, Up Close and Personal in Tucker & Lilburn. The article is not available online, but copies are available from the church.
A lot of research was done preparing for this article, much of which was not included in the final printing. We have decided to make available a webpage dedicated to this property and the history surrounding it.
